Couples Counselling
Every relationship goes through difficult times. You might be arguing more, struggling to talk without it turning into conflict, recovering from a breach of trust, or simply feeling distant from each other. Couples counselling offers a neutral, confidential space where both of you can be heard.
I also see individuals who want to talk about relationship difficulties on their own.
How couples and relationship counselling can help
Better communication: Counselling slows conversations down so each of you can say what you feel and need, and really hear the other person.
Understanding repeating patterns: Together we can explore the arguments or silences that keep coming back, and what might be driving them for each of you.
Rebuilding trust: Where trust has been broken, counselling can support honest conversations and help you both decide how you want to move forward.
Reconnecting: Many couples find they rediscover warmth, closeness and intimacy once tension and misunderstanding start to ease.
Making decisions together: Sometimes couples come to counselling unsure whether to stay together. Counselling can help you reach a decision that feels right, and support you through it.
I offer couples counselling face to face in Portsmouth, Southsea, Havant and Waterlooville, and online across the UK. Couples sessions are £75 for 50 minutes.
