These Terms and Conditions apply to all counselling sessions and bookings provided by Liam Tracey Counselling a professional counselling service in the Hampshire offering private therapy and support. By booking and attending counselling services you agree to the terms set out below. This page supports transparency for clients seeking private counselling therapy mental health support and talking therapy.

1. Counselling Services
Liam Tracey Counselling provides professional counselling therapy and mental health support for adults in the UK. Services include private counselling talking therapy emotional wellbeing support and personal development counselling. Sessions are delivered by a qualified counsellor and aim to support self awareness resilience and positive change. Outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

2. Eligibility
Clients must be aged 18 or over unless otherwise agreed in writing. By booking a session you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Booking and Payment
Sessions must be booked in advance. Payment is required prior to the session unless otherwise agreed. Fees are based within our pricing page. Missed or late payments may result in suspension of future bookings.

4. Cancellations and Missed Appointments
A minimum of 24 hours notice is required to cancel or rearrange an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice or non attendance may be charged at the full session fee. This includes technical difficulties for online sessions unless caused by the counsellor.

5. Late Arrival
If you arrive late the session will still end at the scheduled time to avoid impact on other clients. The full session fee remains payable.

6. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is a core part of professional counselling and therapy services in the UK. Your privacy and personal information are treated with respect and care at all times. All counselling sessions are confidential and handled in accordance with professional ethical standards and UK data protection law. Information will not be shared with third parties without your consent except in the following circumstances

Where there is a risk of serious harm to you or others

Where safeguarding concerns arise involving children or vulnerable adults

Where disclosure is required by law or court order

7. Records and Data Protection
Brief session notes are kept for professional and legal purposes. Records are stored securely and managed in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the right to request access to your personal data.

8. Online and Telephone Sessions
Online counselling and telephone counselling are offered as flexible therapy options for clients across Hampshire. These remote counselling sessions provide access to professional mental health support regardless of location. Online and telephone counselling carries additional risks such as interruptions or technical issues. You are responsible for ensuring a private and secure environment. The counsellor is not responsible for issues caused by your internet connection or device.

9. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for engaging in the counselling process and for their own wellbeing between sessions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis you should contact your GP NHS 111 emergency services or a crisis helpline.

10. Professional Boundaries
Counselling sessions are strictly professional. Contact outside sessions is limited to scheduling and administrative matters unless otherwise agreed.

11. Ending Counselling
Either party may end counselling at any time. Wherever possible this will be discussed in a planned ending session. Fees remain payable for sessions not cancelled in line with the cancellation policy.

12. Complaints
This counselling service aims to meet high professional and ethical standards expected of UK counsellors and therapists. Feedback is welcomed to improve the quality of counselling and client experience. If you are unhappy with any aspect of the service you are encouraged to raise this directly with the counsellor. If the matter cannot be resolved you may be advised of the relevant professional complaints process at liamtraceycounselling@gmail.com

13. Changes to Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The current version will apply to all ongoing and future bookings.

14. Governing Law
These counselling Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Liam Tracey Counselling through the website www.liamtraceycounselling.co.uk including online counselling face to face therapy and telephone counselling. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
